The famous Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has finally come forward to address the persistent rumours circulating about her husband, Maxwell Mensah, allegedly abusing her.
Not too long ago, rumors escalated after an audio clip surfaced, the voice heard from the audio was a man suggesting that the famous Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown had suffered injuries from domestic violence.
The man alleged that Nana Ama Mcbrown’s absence from United Showbiz for medication some time back was due to Maxwell’s constant abuse. However, during her Onua Showtime on Onua TV, the actress Nana Ama Mcbrown firmly denied these claims.
In a candid discussion on her show, the actress now presenter, Nana Ama McBrown emphasized that she is not the type of woman who would tolerate any form of abuse from her husband. She confidently stated,
” Do I look like a lady whose husband will beat her? Or do you think such a thing (abuse) can happen in my house? I’m not a lady who will allow herself to be beaten by her husband. ”
The rumours have persisted for weeks, causing distress to McBrown and her family. The false story even reached her mother, who had to reach out to her daughter to verify the situation. Nana Ama McBrown shared that her mother had called her worriedly to inquire if she had indeed been a victim of abuse, which added to the distress caused by the unfounded rumours.
” My mother once called me to enquire if my husband had truly beaten me because she heard the rumour online, ” the actress Nana Ama Mcbrown said.
